After installing Task TrackIt and adding the module to a page
you need use the module settings function to setup user permissions.
In the "Task TrackIt Settings" section you can manage which
users have access to the Task TrackIt module and what permissions those users have
when using Task TrackIt. There are four permission levels.
- see other's task items gives the user permission to see all the task items in the module
- ...plus assign task items to other users gives the user permission from the first option plus the permission to assign task items to other users
- ...plus manage Task TrackIt
users gives the user permissions from the first and
second options plus the permission to manage Task TrackIt users.
Note: DotNetNuke users with permission to access module settings will be able to manage Task TrackIt users from the module setting feature even if they have not been assigned to this permission level in the Task TrackIt module. Task TrackIt users with this permission will be able to manager Task TrackIt users without the need to have DotNetNuke permission to access the module settings feature. - none of the above a user at this permission level can only see task items that have been assigned to that user and cannot assign task items to other users
